[September 19 2005] [Original] The Ones Left Behind
Title: The Ones Left Behind
Day/Theme: September 19: Dante in hell
Series: The Crucible
Character/Pairing: Elizabeth
Rating: PG
Summary: Elizabeth rebuilds her life.
A/N: Spoilers (of a sort) for the end of the play (though this is set far after it); draws vaguely on historical fact (Elizabeth Proctor was pregnant; her term lasted through the end of the witch trials, keeping her alive). EVERYTHING ELSE IS TOTALLY MADE UP HO HO
A/N2: WHY THE HELL AM I WRITING FIC FOR THIS PLAY WHEN I HATE IT
A/N3: I don't half-hate this, tho its inaccuracy hits new levels of ridonkulous.
( Elizabeth has said enough prayer for a lifetime, those lonely nights, and now she needs prayer no more. )
