"He hasn't slept in two days", Koki says quietly, nodding over to where Kame is reading a thick script on the leather couch in their dressing-room. He has dark circles under his eyes, his shirt is wrinkled. Other than that he looks as immaculate as ever.

I know, Maru wants to say, I was right next to him while he was not-sleeping.

("Kamemaru doesn't belong in the daylight, ne Yuichi", smily, sleepy, pretty Kame-chan says at night, when it's only the two of them and a bottle of liquor in Kame's apartment.
"It's a secret", he declares, "shh", just like in his songs, but the smile is less provocative, sensual but small and goofy.

"Of course" Nakamaru answers.)

"I didn't know", he tells Koki. Pretty little lies for pretty little Kamenashi.
