I see that look in your eyes. We both know what it means. But it looks like, tonight, you’re finally going to say something about it. You stupid bastard.

“Kurogane…”

I’d rather be the dream you never got to have than become one of the ones you finish and forget.

“No.”

I’d rather be the wish that the candles never made come true than be a memory of something that happened.

“You’re not interested?”

You’ve got older ghosts than me, Fai, and I won’t join them. Even if it hurts. Even if it stings. Even if I hate it just as much as you do.

“Nope.”

But only because I can’t stand knowing that I’d be overwhelmed some day.
