Summary: Alzeid does not really muse on whether he wants to get to know his travelling companions or not.
It’s not exactly as though he cares, really. She’s just someone he’s travelling with, for now (in the way that that guy was just someone he stayed around), so it doesn’t bother him- shouldn’t bother him. If he learns anything about her- and about Baroqueheat, he supposes- it’s because they’ve made it obvious, they act in such a way, or they straight-out tell him (which is something that happens far more with Baroqueheat than Rahzel). There’s no need- or desire, really- for him to try and penetrate the surface, nor for him to have to show them anything if he doesn’t want to.
So when she says that he’s not telling them anything, it’s not something that should bother him. But if he hasn’t said much, there’s less she’s said in return.
Not that it troubles him. Itches don’t do that, really.
