[August 18] [Sailor Moon] Uniforms

Day/Theme: August 18- feathered by moonlight

Character/Pairing: Mamoru, Usagi

Notes: Oh geez, I haven't written for this in ages. D: Let me know if it sounds too off, please?

Over time, their uniforms have changed, Usagi’s- Sailor Moon’s- most noticeably. Presumably it’s something to do with the ways they’ve gained over the years, a representation of the strength they’ve gained over the time they’ve been protecting Earth. Why their uniforms don’t all have some subtle differences besides their colours, besides Sailor Moons, he doesn’t know. Perhaps it’s due to their natures- she is their leader, the holder of the Ginzuishou.
And perhaps it is simply that the moon is the closest to Earth of all of them. She is always bright, but- perhaps just that little bit brighter in the moonlight (as unlikely as it sounds), her wings a little more solid. It’s a little hard to say, though- that usually means a fight. But he doesn’t lack for observational skills, and he wonders what it might be like to touch them someday.
