There are many wonders in all the worlds, though some are more obvious to people than others, especially if that person is from a world where the wonder doesn’t happen at all. There were many things here that she had not seen at home, naturally, but it was also enough like her own world that she stopped and stared at things that were just out of her norm.

Although, as I understand it, this was something particularly unusual, which she would have stared at even had she been here longer. And of course, part of the wonder of this world is that it seeks- or at least it seems to seek- to continue to contain surprises for everyone.

I have always been surprised that there are things that I may eat from our seas, for example. It is not an unpleasant experience, I should say- rather, when on a trip, it is most pleasing, especially when you come across it unexpectedly.

It does make taking off your shoes and running through the surf a great deal harder, however.
