[August 14] [Original] Learning Curve
Title: Learning Curve
Day/Theme: 14 August- will you catch if I'm falling?
Series: Original (Sisters and Dragon)
Character/Pairing: Leas, the Nuisance

The trouble was that he wasn’t sure quite how much she knew about all this- that was to say, how much she knew about his side of things. She was fairly capable with her own part in matters- though he considered (not entirely without reason) that she seemed to prefer to leave things up to him.
He would have felt slightly better about this if she’d seemed even slightly more adept at teaching him about the nature of what it was he was supposed to do, beyond go about the countryside and teach evildoers a lesson. While he wasn’t unused to having to fight, it hadn’t been particularly high on his list of priorities until now, and not with such regularity. It was almost unnerving.
Then again, that could’ve been the new capacity to leap to great heights. This he didn’t have a particular problem with, aside from the necessity of coming down. He had no idea how he could land, and he wasn’t sure that the bird was going to be much use either.
He’d just have to wing it.
