[12 August] [Original] Twist of Light
Title: Twist of Light
Day/Theme: 12 August- step out the front door like a ghost
Series: Original (The Strange and Awkward Mishaps of Dahy, Xephos, and co.)
Character/Pairing: The kid
Rating: G
It was the simplest thing in the world, practically- or it was for him. One of the little pieces of knowing how to do things that he’d inherited, along with other things. But this was easier than dealing with those things, this was simply taking what was there and twisting it around himself, changing the way it let people see him until it didn’t, or simply left only the faintest flicker. If he’d had a human childhood- been human- he would’ve done this even before walking, and caused all sorts of fusses when he’d learnt to walk (though he would have been, in all likelihood, a completely different person in that case). It was most difficult to find a child who could just walk out without anyone really noticing, after all.
He’d always used it to his advantage.
