An airtight situation where his brother would be within igniting distance and without a chance to escape; an infallible method that would force his brother to explain what he had done all those years ago. Once Oogami had been firmly convinced that such a method was all it would take to make his brother reveal something that would make sense of the insanity. As the certainty shriveled, like abandoned sketches crumpled into a ball of paper, Oogami pressed his inner ear harder to the ground, holding his breath. Someone like his brother was bound to make ripples, and Oogami had to be there when they began to spread out; he had to be there, so the first trace of fire would proceed even the flicker of his hand.
