They all follow Mother, and Mother alone. Which he shouldn’t blame them for, exactly- or so Schala’d say, given the Gurus are all gone- but he can’t help thinking that they should know better. They should be able to think about it a little more- why exactly do they think they’re called the Enlightened Ones?

If they’d think about it, they’d realise that something isn’t quite right, that it’s not good for all of this to lie on one- maybe two- pair of shoulders. He can see it, and he’s younger.

But then, he doesn’t think they can hear the winds, either. And they certainly don’t seem as worried- or to even notice- the toll it’s taking on Schala.

He hates it. Them and their foolishness.

Someday, it’ll all fall down.
