[July 19] [Chrono Trigger] A Little Odd

Day/Theme: 19 July- if logic or theories cannot explain

Character/Pairing: Lucca, Marle, semi-implied Crono/Marle/Lucca
Rating: G
Lucca wasn’t jealous, not really. She’d figured it probably wasn’t going to work between she and Crono when they were a lot younger (getting him to go to sleep instead of excited and interested in projects probably wasn’t a good sign), so making sure that whoever he found cared about him became a high priority instead.
Discovering that Marle cared about Lucca in- maybe not quite the same way, Lucca was even less sure about what to do if things were that way- well, cared about her in some way was a little weird. Lucca’d figured it’d be good if they got along, but hadn’t really expected it- after all, she was the weird girl, wasn’t she?
Didn’t quite explain the grip Marle had on her hand, though (almost as if she thought Lucca would slip out if she didn’t hold on that tightly, which… wasn’t that far from the truth). Maybe she’d ask later.
