[July 3][Original] Untitled
Title: Untitled
Day/Theme: July 3. to hear you breathe
Series: Original
Character/Pairing: Luke/Mark
Rating: G
No sports team was an intimate as the wresting team. At least that’s what Luke figured, and he decided that he was an expert. He was a senior, and had experience on the soccer team, the track team, and the wrestling team. And there was no question in his mind, what sport he got to know his teammates best at.
Wrestling was how he met Mark. The two teens were both in the lightest weight class their first year on the team. At first they didn’t even like each other very much. Luke’s brash manner offended Mark’s sensibilities. But over time, through forced closeness, they learned to understand each other. There was something about being on top of another person, feeling them breath under you that made you closer to them.
By the end of his senior year Mark hadn’t gained half as much weight as Luke had. They never wrestled anymore. But that’s was fine. They’d go see movies together and play video games. They stayed best friends until the end.
