He’d forgotten precisely how much he’d missed her. In that way, he supposed that they’d done him a favour, of sorts, the distortion sending him- not home, exactly. It hadn’t been home for some time, and not only after his initial displacement.
Coming back did nothing to shake that. Age and the disguise of the Prophet simply gave him a better viewpoint from which to look at Zeal, and it did not impress. Lavos’ power might have raised the land above the clouds, but not the people’s hearts- or even their minds. Seeing it fall by their own pretensions would only be justice.
Besides, he had a debt to repay for being taken from his sister.
