Title: Dealing With a Parasite
Day/Theme: May 26- Sift the human storm

Character/Pairing: The world, Lavos

Of all the people in the world, there was any number who might have been able to get started on helping the world out of the situation it was in. The trouble was that circumstances often prevented the best people coming to its aid- generally troubles in that specific time that had to be dealt with, or there’d be more trouble along the line- which was fine as far as maintaining problems at a sustainable level went, but as it went on and on, the world grew rather exasperated, and suspected that Lavos was doing this deliberately. It was a fairly unlikely situation, to be sure, but given that Lavos was an energy-stealing parasite of the highest degree, the world felt entirely justified in laying the problems with dealing with Lavos at its… whatever it had.
Finding people who could be the heroes it wanted so dearly also gave the world a rush of anticipation, and it did it best to make sure that they had the best chance they could have. Perhaps it was less than optimal, but something was always better than nothing, except in the case of parasites.
