[11 May] [Good Omens] Agents on Earth
Title: Agents on Earth
Day/Theme: May 11- a walking study of demonology
Series: Good Omens
Character/Pairing: Aziraphale, Crowley
Rating: G
The advantage of being the agent of Heaven on Earth is that, well, he can get a good look at Hell’s agent on Earth, and he already knows the snake. Which then means that he has a better idea of how to approach the demon, particularly with the view to getting a better look at how Hell’s agent (who, as things turn out, eventually gives Aziraphale his name, or the one he uses, and- as these things go- receives Aziraphale’s in return) intends to sally forth and from there gain some perspective on how to thwart it and indeed possibly even a vague idea of what Hell might be up to in general.
Only, he realizes over the course of several dinners in very nice restaurants, they’ve both been here for- well, rather some time now, and it’s not just the influences of their own areas influencing them any more.
He has another glass of wine.
