Notes: Short follow up to yesterday. Rushed because I was distracted by Naruto XD.


Kayl sat in front of the statue, eyes shut tightly, her hands clasped together. She was the only person there since it was fairly early in the morning. She only had about a few more minutes left. 'I must be strong. O Heavenly Father help me,' she prayed to herself. 'Keep the village safe while I am gone. If I may die, then let me fly in the heavens with you.'

"Kayl?"

Quickly, Kayl turned her head to see Barak at the church's door. Sighing sadly, Kayl stood from her place slowly and hesistantly, she walked to where Barak was standing. She noticed he had a black cloak in his arms.

"Yes Elder Barak?" Kayl asked, her eyes downcast.

Sadly, Barak continued. "It's time. You must leave." Awkwardly, the older man gave the cloak to Kayl. She nodded briefly and wrapped it around her. She pulled the hood over her head to hide her eyes.

Kayl smiled darkly. "I'm ready."
