[September 08] [Hunter x Hunter] The Past Again
Title: The Past Again
Day/Theme: Sept. 8 -- Twin stars
Series: Hunter x Hunter
Character/Pairing: Feitan

Feitan hadn’t cared for many people in his village. There had been his teacher, an intimidatingly large (but kind) man who had taught several of the children how to use nen. There had been his friend (perhaps that’s too generous, call him a ‘fellow student’), a cheerful (if somewhat annoying) techno-geek who was usually up for a good time. And finally, there had been his sister, a cute, affectionate, insightful (if absent-minded) girl who thought the world of him.
When he turned eleven, Feitan left all of them without any intention of ever looking back.
Life had a funny way of throwing his past back at him. Like when Franklin, his old mentor, became a Spider with him. Like when Shalnark showed up out of the blue, attached to Dancho’s side like he’d always been there. Like how Feitan could feel the pressure building up, like how a stretched spring just waits for its tail to catch up to its head, like how twin stars would always be together even if one is obscured by clouds.
When a spot in the Spiders opened up, Feitan knew his sister would fill it. He just hadn’t expected Shizuka to have forgotten all about him.
