A/N: Set way back, when Sakura is only just waking up after losing all her memories. Way back. D:

When her eyes first flutter open, he holds his breath. When she asks who he is, he holds back a sob.
And when her lids remained peeled back, he treats her like he did before, but he refrains, because he doesn't know who she is. And yet he loves her, even when all her memories of him are sleeping catatonic in her mind. He gives her a bit of himself to keep until she has all the missing pieces of herself back.
(He will be her wings, until she can fly again.)
