A/N: I didn't see anything in the rules against posting more than one fic for that day. Unless, the word 'fic' was left singular for that reason. Uh, this just hit my head as I was about to log off. Might seem a bit scattered--it's just a big metaphor.

They are very close, close in a sense that even though they chose different paths, they are just walking on opposite sides of the street. Both boys are still heading to the same path, to the same grand destiny, but they just chose different ways to get there.

(Maybe that's what makes them so alike; their mentality. Their eagerness to fight, the rush of the battle, the feelings behind their actions. Parallels, except this is the one time that parallels can actually though one another.)

It's hard to sever, to separate completely from one's twin soul, hard to break off a bond that has always been there. So while one tries to do the impossible, the other chases.

After all, chasing constantly for something it can never reach is the purpose of a reflection. The shadow will always follow.
