Oz gripped the steering wheel tighter as her words echoed in the cramped of the cab.

[Well, that could be a problem, 'cause people... kind of a planetary epidemic.]

There will never be another, not like her. She made him feel like no other.

[My whole life, I've never loved anything else.]

Sometimes love wasn't enough. Other things got in the way, and although he still loved her, that wasn't the issue. Still, driving away from her was killing him. He had too, no other choice.  His heart was shattering, grinding to nothing. God how  he loved her, there'd be no one else. He would come back, one way or another.
