[16 December] [Final Fantasy X] Watching the World Go By
Title: Watching the World Go By
Day/Theme: 16 December/and night with different stars
Series: Final Fantasy X
Character/Pairing: Tidus
Rating: PG
There's a lot to do on the pilgrimage. In theory, this should mean that Tidus doesn't have a lot of time to think about the differences between Zanarkand and Spira- and it is kind of hard to do so when there're fiends trying to kill them, except… they're not fighting for their lives all the time (thankfully), and there weren't exactly a lot of fiends in Zanarkand. He's not quite used to the weight of the sword in his hand, either, which is also sort of distracting and sort of not.
Most notably, though, the scenery's definitely different. Zanarkand's a big city, and he thinks sometimes it could take someone a couple of days to walk across it (certainly when he was smaller it would've). Luca doesn't really come close (from what he's seen, it looks as though most of Luca is the bliztball stadium), and so far, most of what he's seen of Spira has been green and really un-citylike.
It worries him a little, still, the lack of lights- or maybe it surprises him that when they rest indoors for the night, they don't have to shutter the windows so that the lights of Zanarkand don't keep them from sleeping. He's not quite sure yet.
He's definitely surprised that people can look up at the sky and see patterns in the small lights up there, though. Definitely.
