The water tribe man examined the bizarre animal tracks. The snow was filling the tracks quickly.

It is strange, the warrior thought to himself.

It was eerie. The silence in the air was abnormal, the conditions were harsh, the wind should have been howling.

“You need to return to the village.”

“Avatar Kuruk,” the warrior called. “What creature made these?”

Kuruk looked at the tracks. He knew instantly what monster made them. He had hoped that after what had happen to Ummi that he would never had encountered that demon again.

“Koh, the face stealer,” the Avatar answered. He wondered what reason the blood-thirsty monster was here for. Was it for him? Hadn’t the creature caused him enough trouble for him? He was sure that no other Avatar had to deal with a more horrible beast.
