A snowflake fell from the sky. Then another. And another. Soon the ground was coated in a thin film of white. The dark green blades of the grass, having dulled in autumn’s last breaths, were soon coated in white. Then they were covered in a thin white blanket.
Not a single creature was out. The world was quiet and pristine with a hint of sterility. No life, no sound. The snow covered everything. And it kept coming down mindlessly, thoughtlessly, carelessly.
The snow had covered the blood that soaked the dirt. Not even a hint of red could be seen. The snow had made everything white.
