It had been a respectful day when he finally passed away. The sky cried for him... as he lay dying, he couldn't help but smile, knowing those rain droplets were more than rain... they were tears. Tears of his fallen brother that had fallen far too early. Tears of his comrades that had fallen in battle for the earth... and of course, the tears of his beautiful wife. They were a mixture of happy and sad tears, he was sure of it. The world mourned the loss of a hero.... but those friends, waiting for him, were conflicted. Sad to see their friend finally die, but happy to know he would soon to be joining them.

But once Simon saw a crying, smiling Nia and a grinning Kamina, the only thing he could think of was-- 'I'm home at last'.
