[October 5] [Angel] Prove It
Title: Prove It
Day/Theme: October 5. bargaining

Angel drops the knife stained with blood that desperately he wishes was his own and catches his son in order to cradle him close.
He gently runs his fingers though Connor's hair and tries to say something. He's traded everything he had left for this moment. There should be something that could make Connor understand, to ease the pain, to make this moment slightly more bearable.
"Guess you proved it," Connor murmurs and then dies with a small, soft smile on his face.
At that, Angel realizes the reason there was nothing he could say because he is all out of words.
