“Uh, sure,” Madarame replied. “I remember.” The two had only been dating a few weeks, and he was unlikely to forget.

“Tomorrow is Thursday, you know,” Saki repeated, looking him in the eye.

“Yes, and today’s Wednesday,” Madarame replied with a shrug.

“Look, stop playing dumb,” said Saki. “Yesterday I heard Sasahara reminding you about the new anime premiering on Thursday night.”

“I’m not playing dumb! I just--”

“You just what?”

“I know that if I start acting like Kohsaka did you’ll kill me.”

Saki gave a grin. “Got that right.”
