Aerith had never understood Cloud and probably never would.
Not that anyone did.
However, there was one thing she understood about him better than anyone. They both shared a lost person, someone that was missing from their lives. Her boyfriend and his best friend. Someone that had protected them to the best of their abilities.
Yet now Cloud was out of her reach, distance had taken him from her. She still loved him and the quiet strength that surrounded him, even if he didn’t quite believe it. The distance that separated didn’t stop her from being there for him.
