[August 23] [Fate/stay night] Scoptophobia
Title: Scoptophobia
Day/Theme: August 23 - Understand my hate for you.
Series: Fate/stay night
Character/Pairing: Archer, Shirou, Rin; Shirou/Rin and implied Archer/Rin
Rating: PG-13
Notes: Mentions of sex, spoilers for UBW? I know I'm not the only one who felt a murderous rage towards Shirou in that scene. Whoever knows the word in the title wins an internet~
On the roof of the side building of the Emiya residence, Archer waited.
In all honesty, he wasn’t sure why he was here. He didn’t plan to make a reappearance any time soon, or at all. He could be doing much more interesting things with his remaining time than sit on a roof. The only possible reason for his being here was to watch over Rin, but Archer wasn’t quite willing to admit that, even to himself.
So, for reasons completely unrelated to Tohsaka Rin, Archer waited on the roof. Once again, he checked the surroundings, mindful of anything that could be a threat. Trees: certainly not a threat. Saber in the dojo: also not a threat. Rin and Shirou having sex-
The hate he had previously felt for his younger self instantly flared up again.
He forced himself to calm down. It wasn’t any of his concern. He had thought something like this would happen; Shirou was not exactly subtle, and Rin obviously was fond of him. Besides, they were most likely doing this to transfer mana.
…Archer still wanted to cut him into tiny little pieces, though.
With nothing more interesting to do, Archer watched.
Gradually, it became obvious that Shirou wasn’t very good at it. He couldn’t hear anything, but it looked like Rin was in pain. A lot of pain. She was… crying…
Was wanting to kill someone for having naïve ideals more or less justified than wanting to kill someone for being terrible in bed?
