Tenchi heard a knock at his bedroom door, and looked up, to see a stern Kiyone holding a tearful Ryoko by the shoulder.

Ryoko sniffed. "Oh, Tenchi... I've been a bad, bad girl."

Tenchi pulled a face. "Uh huh."

Ryoko hung her head. "I've decided to surrender myself to the Galaxy Police—"

Tenchi turned back to his desk. "Oh. That's nice."

Ryoko cried out to Tenchi as an impatient Kiyone dragged her away. "Don't you want to put me in handcuffs?... Or spank me?..."

"Damn," said Ryoko. "The sad-little-girl-begging-for-forgiveness routine didn't work either."

Kiyone sighed. "I told you it wouldn't."
