"This food is boring," Haruhi whined over lunch to Kyon. "You know what I wanna try? A hippopotamus sandwich!"

Kyon put down his own lunch and face-palmed. "Ha-ru-hi... I'm fairly sure hippopotamus meat is illegal."

"Aw, c'mon!" Haruhi said. "They must have hippopotamus sandwiches somewhere in Japan!"

"Actually," Kyon suddenly said, "you should try this one restaurant. If you go south from the city market entrance, it'll be on your left..."

"Yeah?" Haruhi said excitedly.

"And when you get there," Kyon said, "order some BALONEY, because YOU CAN'T GET A HIPPOPOTAMUS SANDWICH!!"

"You big tease," a genuinely amused Haruhi said.
