As Kyon entered the SOS club-room, Haruhi jammed a huge colorful sombrero on his head.

"Wha— why!?—" Kyon asked.

"I just thought you needed a hat," Haruhi said. "Men should wear hats more often."

"Actually," Kyon said, "it's impolite when men wear hats indoors—"

"QUIT ARGUING AND WEAR THE DAMN HAT!!" Haruhi yelled.

A chastened Kyon slunk past Itsuki (who was sporting a jaunty bowler), and sat down as Mikuru served his tea.

Mikuru giggled at Kyon's sombrero. "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" she said.

Kyon shot her a silent "give me a break" look.

Mikuru hung her head. "Sorry," she said sadly.
