[July 23] [Ranma 1/2] Too Early to Argue
Title: Too Early to Argue
Day/Theme: 23: Wake up kick
Series:Ranma 1/2
Character/Pairing: Ranma/Akane

The teapot came bursting through the wall about half an hour after sunrise. Akane was jolted awake first by the smashing sound, and then by the splash of hot water from the pot. She yelped as it soaked the front of her yellow pajama top. It was painfully hot, but not scalding. She gasped and pulled the cloth away from her skin. The teapot had fallen to the floor with another clang. There was a footprint in the side of it.
“Ranma!!” she screamed. Her betrothed peeked sheepishly through the hole in the wall. He was in his girl form.
“Sorry, Akane,” he said, risking a quick glance at her soaked chest. “That was meant for me.” She glowered, shaking the wet fabric. “Shampoo was here early this morning.”
“And she decided I needed tea in bed?” Akane’s voice was ground out through her teeth. Ranma scurried inside to pick up the pot and some of the pieces of wall.
“No… That was Mousse… I turned girl to ditch Shampoo, but she came up swinging with this teapot, and Mousse decided that if I wasn’t a boy, she couldn’t go on a date, and so he blocked and it went flying and…well… I‘m sorry is all.”
Akane looked angry for another moment, and then sighed. She got up and turned her back to pull the top off. Ranma froze in shock until he realized she was wearing a sports bra under it, but turned around just to be safe. A second layer wasn’t a bad idea, he realized. Especially around here.
“I’ll buy ya a poster to cover the hole,” he offered. “Until we can get it fixed.” It wasn’t much of an offering and he knew it, but after a moment of silence she said “Fine.”
