Sleep was not a vital part of Kenneth's life. He only slept four hours a night, five tops. It annoyed Tyler to no end that the first thing he did before going to bed and waking up in the morning was to pray which he got ready for now, quietly slipping out of bed.
It was almost five o'clock; if he made one noise to wake Tyler, she would go berserk. It was hard to juggle his relationships with Tyler and Allah, especially considering that Kenneth highly doubted that Allah actually approved of him dating Tyler who believed in a mixture of Native American, Pagan, and African traditions.
He glanced at her on the bed before starting his morning prayer. He knew he would never voice his doubts but when alone he could at least admit it to himself.
