[Jul 3] [Ghost Hound] Studying Up On It
Title: Studying Up On It
Day/Theme: Jul 3 / Preventive Measures
Series: Ghost Hound
Character/Pairing: Makoto/Masayuki
Note: This is set after the series.
Ogami Makoto had opened the door to the shared apartment, his jacket slung over his shoulders. Work had been tiresome and he hoped that he'd be the only one home in their 3-person apartment. As far as he knew, Tarou had a date with Miyako, so he wouldn't be home. Masayuki, on the other hand, generally didn't go out a lot unless it was with Michio. He could only hope that today was one of those days. He put his coat up on the hook by the door and walked into the kitchen, hearing the light murmur of television. His frown deepened as he walked into the living room. Masayuki had the television going, while looking through a book. Makoto crossed his arms. Well, Masayuki wasn't much a bother when he was quiet and that was usually only after rigorous exercise in bed, but the new silence was good too. He sat down in the chair opposite of him and took the remote. Masayuki looked up, his eyes narrowing at the pale hand.
“What are you doing?”
Makoto raised a single brow, irritation growing in his eyes, causing one to twitch lightly. “Changing the channel, what does it look like?”
Masayuki's glare lightened, but his frown remained. “You can't.”
Makoto glared at the other man. “...why not!?”
Masayuki took a different remote and pressed the pause button. Which would explain why he couldn't change the channel, but the fact that he had pressed 'pause' meant he had something to say. Makoto groaned lightly and leaned back against his chair. This aught to be good. Masayuki grinned, closing his eyes as he did and lifted a finger. “I'm studying.”
“For what? You already have a nice job at your dad's company... why study for anything?”
Unlike Masayuki, Makoto and Tarou weren't so lucky. They were studying in school and to hold up a job. Masayuki only had to worry about his job and keeping up with it. But at least he had been handed a good, well paying job without much of a fight. Masayuki frowned and looked at Makoto with a funny expression.
“It's not studying for school, but for us.”
“Us?”
Masayuki grinned and nodded. “I just thought I'd look up things to be cautious.”
Makoto felt his brow furrow again and the tick return, but this time it wasn't as menacing, but merely a flustered reaction. He just now realized what the book was and what was exactly on the television. Masayuki pouted at him. “We don't use condom's very often! Are you trying to give me AIDS?”
Makoto shook his head, getting up to get something to drink, unfortunately for him, Masayuki wasn't a meek person, in fact, he was a down right in-your-face type of person and he followed Makoto, despite the dark haired man's menacing atmosphere. He kept accusing the Ogami man for trying to infect him with a disease, kill him, and then leave for something else.
Makoto squished the cardboard milk carton in his hand, the last little bit of milk that was left, leaked from his hand.
“If I give you AIDs, that means I'd have them to, dumbass.”
Masayuki's mouth opened, then fell shut, his eyes narrowing. “I know that! But we have had a lot of unprotected sex...”
Makoto growled at him. “Have you been having sex with someone else?”
Masayuki turned pink, his green eyes finding the ceiling incredibly boring for a moment, then looked back to the pale man. “Of course not.”
Makoto crossed his arms across his chest, cocking his head upward. “Then you don't have to worry about HIV.”
“But the book...”
“The book is wrong. Cause I don't know about you, but I don't plan on doing anything stupid, besides you.”
Masayuki grinned, taking the hint and followed Makoto into the bedroom, perhaps it wouldn't hurt to not use condoms every once and awhile like they did, but sometimes it would be nice to take that extra precaution so nothing did happen, even if they were both faithful to each other. Who knows what could happen? He opened the drawer and pulled out some lube and a package of condoms, his green eyes glinting mischievously at Makoto. “With or without condoms?”
(The End)
Murr... that kind of sucked. XDD I had been trying to plan what series/pairing I'd do for each day and this was totally a last decision. I'm sorry for any OOCness here =/ It's meant to be when they are all older. XD
