The sad irony of it was that he was saving people.
He killed those who would kill others. He killed those who would kill thousands upon thousands of others, so many that the World took notice. That was his job, and in that light it was a noble one.
But he also killed any witnesses. Anyone who got in the way would have to die. Anyone who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, he would be forced to kill.
He was the boy who dreamed of saving everyone, and the blood on his hands was breaking him.
