Kyon had never run so fast in his life. His lungs were burning as he panted. Haruhi was catching up. He urged his legs to go faster, even though he was already at his top speed. She may have done it to Itsuki, but Kyon REFUSED to let her do it to him. He would jump through a window if he had to, not even caring that he was on the third floor.
“Kyon, get back here!”
“Forget it!” he yelled over his shoulder. “I am not wearing that cat boy costume!”
“You can’t run forever!”
Kyon silently prayed and hoped that he could.
