(March 19th) (Bleach) deep irritations

It was afterwards, thinking about it, that Ukitake realised just how much Aizen had known and played on their feelings and reactions; himself, Kyouraku, Yamamoto-soutaichou.
He had no regrets for the belief in justice that had led them to cross swords. He had no apologies (other than the civil ones for the situation, quite different from genuine ones for the principle) for his actions.
But it did rankle to know that Aizen had probably understood everything all the way down to the silent urge to find which of them was finally the better, after all those centuries.
Yes. That burned.
