There was something different about her today...something about the way Mai looked in a T-shirt and jeans when compared to her normal school uniform. The way the cotton shirt filled out her hips and breasts--it just couldn't stop Yuuichi from staring at her. He had to say something about it, or risk getting hit in the face again, like last time.

"Hey...nice shirt," he said.

She turned around and smiled at him as she buttoned up her jacket to complete the ensemble. "Do you really like it?" she asked. "I bought this a few days ago at the new clothing store downtown. I figured I needed a change in wardrobe. Those school uniforms can get so stuffy sometimes."

"Yeah. Well, uh...I think it looks good on you," he said. "If you like it, you should wear it more often on the weekends."

"Thanks." Mai gave Yuuichi a gentle nudge and scanned over him from head to toe. "You look like you could use some new gear yourself."

Yuuichi chuckled. "I guess a new shirt wouldn't hurt..."

"Don't worry...the next time I go out, I might get you something," she said with a wink.

Yes...Yuuichi Tate was a lucky guy, indeed.
