Kyon was startled awake by his cell phone. He checked the number, sighed, and answered the call. "This had better be an emergency, Haruhi!"

"I'M BORED!!" Haruhi whined over the phone.

Kyon face-palmed. "Haruhi, it's four o'clock in the morning!"

"I know!" Haruhi snapped. "And it's so quiet! It's really boring!"

"People are often bored at 4:00 A.M.," Kyon said. "In fact, THEY'RE SO BORED THAT THEY GO TO SLEEP!!"

"You're an SOS Brigade member!" Haruhi yelled. "You're supposed to be ready to entertain me 'twenty-four seven'!!"

I'M IN HELL, Kyon thought to himself. I'VE DIED AND GONE TO HELL.
