[february 01] [original] careful analysis
Title: Careful Analysis
Day/Theme: February 1/“Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?”
Series: Original
Character/Pairing: Chaos -> Alexandria
Rating: G
Words: 215
She stood out among everyone else around him at the time. Her short hair looked clean as well as her clothes but he could tell that she had stolen them shortly after she arrived in the city. He briefly wondered why she decided to stash her tessen inside her shirt instead of placing them in the holster resting on her hips; a prohibition on weapons didn’t exist in the Outlands so he didn’t see the point (he would later learn that she did this for easier access and what she called ‘the element of surprise’). Her small-gloved hands gripped her arms tightly as she leaned against the wall, making her best attempts to blend into the crowd; he later admitted that she did a better job at it than he did with his vibrant white hair and tattooed left shoulder. Her body was perfect for a thief; thin and lanky, much like his. He couldn’t stop thinking about the fun he would have constantly matching wits and skills with her.
He abruptly turned his attention somewhere else when he saw that she sensed his lingering gaze; he felt his body freeze and become rigid when he turned his gaze back to her form and saw that she had already started to walk in his direction.
