"Just what do you think you're doing?"
Mikoto gulped as the crimson-jeweled eyes of the monstrous spider-scorpion, Julia, stared down at her.
"You've pestered me for the last time, Minagi," said a furious Nao Yuuki.
Nao snapped her fingers and commanded Julia to entrap the wildcat HiME with its web. Strands of silk shot from all directions, pinning Mikoto down and rendering her unable to move. Mikoto reached desperately for her sword so that she could fight back, but Miroku would be unable to save her this time.
Nao smiled and scratched Mikoto's face with a fingernail. "Now stay there."
