While walking to school with Kyon, Yuki suddenly stopped, grimaced, and held a hand to her stomach.

Kyon was alarmed that the stoic Yuki had shown even the slightest sign of pain. "What's wrong, Miss Nagato?" he asked urgently.

"I missed one of Ryouko's blades," Yuki said. To Kyon's embarrassment, she pulled up her blouse— and then, to his horror, she plunged her hand into her stomach, felt around inside herself, and slowly pulled out a meter-long blood-covered metal blade.

I've heard of people having wood splinters in their fingers for years, Kyon thought to himself, but this is ridiculous.
