Day/Theme: January 21, 2008 // this is the very ecstacy of love
Character/Pairing: Scarlett Voss and Nicholas Littlefield

A/N: I made up this little world of theirs for a book I never finished writing about five years ago, and I decided to recylcle it. :]]
Scarlett curled up against her boyfriend, Nicholas. He smiled, wrapping an arm around her. They were sitting on a dark, grassy hill that overlooked the village of Dowers. The fires of stranger’s homes made for a beautiful scene.
Nicholas kissed Scarlett’s dark hair. She smelled like fresh air and unbridled freedom. She smelled like home. He looked back out over the village. He would have to leave this one day, but she would remain in his heart. On his dying day, he could remember he had loved a girl named Scarlett, she was once home. For now, she was home.
