Title: Listen To Your Heart

Notes: Doctor Who belongs to the BBC, though I'd gladly adopt Four or Eight if given the chance.
"Did you ever find the back door to the TARDIS?" Leela's almost imperceptible grin played in her tone of voice far more obviously than in her expression as the pair of women walked back to the Capitol.
Romana had discovered a newfound respect for the Sevateem warrior after the incident with the Doctor and Zagreus. They had shared a comfortable silence between them as they headed back after seeing the Doctor off.
"Do you think the Doctor will find what he is looking for?"
"I don't know," Romana said thoughtfully.
"And Charley?"
A faint smile crossed Romana's elegant features at the mention of the human girl. "I've no idea, Leela, but I'm sure she'll find her way."
"Aah." There was a long silence before Leela spoke again. "She loves him dearly."
"Humans are a remarkable species," Romana said, agreeing in an offbeat manner. "They follow their hearts more than their brains."
"The Doctor is very much like that. He follows his own hearts no matter where they lead." Leela paused. "Perhaps in his isolation, the Doctor's hearts will lead him to the one who needs him most."
"Charley won't let him ignore his own hearts, no matter how much he might want to bury them. That I'm sure of."
Leela smiled. "Good. They deserve some comfort in one another."
