Kyon walked along a quiet city street on a bitterly cold winter day, carrying Haruhi's coat. He turned a corner, and found Haruhi in her bunny-girl costume, distributing SOS Brigade flyers, and shivering so badly that her bunny-ears were flopping.

Kyon held out her coat. "Here."

"Cuh- cuh- can't!!" Haruhi gasped. "Cuh-can't let duh-down the cuh-club!!"

"What will the SOS Brigade do," Kyon asked kindly, "if their leader dies of pneumonia?"

Haruhi reluctantly put on her coat. "This was, um, very thoughtful of you."

"Cold weather was predicted," Kyon said, "and you're predictable too."

"baka," a touched Haruhi said quietly.
