There were times when Yuuko thought she could no longer be physically hurt.

 

When it came to emotions, however, pain was still very much present. It showed up for a lasting visit every time she remembered Clow and the days long gone. She could feel the familiar ache, wrapping up around her heart, constricting and tugging at her strings. She had yet to fully resign to his absence, for she was still clinging to his memory, to the throbbing melancholy and nostalgia that it brought.

 

It was all that had remained, and she didn’t want to lose that as well.
