She missed him.

 

She missed his intemperate personality, his strange quirks and mannerisms. She even missed his annoying and ultimately insane ideas, which would often get her either in too much trouble or just plain mad.

 

She missed the times when they would sip their alcohol and simply watch each other in silent understanding. It was too intricate of a bond for words to describe, and far too powerful for spells to break.

 

That’s what made him Clow, the man she loved to hate - and hated to love. And she already missed him.   

 

                   Though he wasn’t even gone yet.
