Day/Theme: 15. Swimming backwards, with your eyes closed

Rating: PG drabble. Manga Vol. 7/8-ish.
Seras had hit the wall. And burst through it. The things she had been afraid of were past her now. What had been out of her reach and incomprehensible was now running through her veins.
Her human fears were left behind. There would be no more helpless floundering, unable to see what was coming or where she was going. No more fear of it. She had wings now. She was flying above the whirlpool of blood and confusion that had been trying to suck her down.
She was free of it. Over it. Beyond it. Above it. Had Mastered it.
