"You're cheerful, as usual," Kyon said to Mikuru. "If I were the SOS Brigade mascot, I wouldn't be smiling."

"Why not?" Mikuru said innocently. "You should smile more often, Kyon-kun."

Hmm, Kyon thought. Itsuki's always smiling, and Haruhi goes easier on him...

Haruhi walked in. Kyon, Mikuru and Itsuki silently smiled at her.

"Very funny," Haruhi said. "You won't weird me out unless everybody is smiling."

They turned to Yuki, and stared at her. She silently stared back.

Then Yuki looked down, as if to concentrate.

And then, Yuki looked up, and... smiled.

"AAIIEEEEEE!!" said Haruhi, Mikuru, Itsuki and Kyon.
