[Dec 9] [Beetlejuice] A Week's Work
Title: A Week's Work
Day/Theme: 9. In love on Fridays

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Creation itself had taken six days. These things took time.
And it wasn’t as if he hadn’t made progress. In just 24 hours, she had gone from hissing things like “Never!” to a hostile glare and very cold silence.
It wouldn‘t be long until he could coax a smile out of her. After that, it was just a matter of time. By the end of the week, for sure.
On the other hand, he had what he wanted. He was out. It would be easy to just walk away and revel in a world he’d only been able to steal tastes of.
But he had stolen a taste of her, too. If he played his cards right, if he worked at it just so, he might get away with both. It was only Tuesday. He had plenty of time.
